Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, met today with Hisham Tawfik, Minister of Public Business Sector; To follow up the efforts to develop the textile industry.

The Prime Minister stressed the need to move forward in achieving the ambitious plan adopted by the state to develop the spinning and weaving industry, and to continue efforts to develop public business sector companies; With the aim of organizing it according to modern and advanced patterns, within the framework of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the importance of focusing on developing working cadres and qualifying the human element to use the latest global systems.

In this context, the Minister indicated that all construction works are currently being completed according to the specified schedule, which includes many buildings between new construction and restoration; In preparation for the installation of modern machines from major international companies during the coming period, to be followed by the start of trial operation for all factories, respectively.

The Minister of Business Sector noted the establishment of a spinning factory (1), which is the largest spinning factory in the world on an area of 62.5 thousand square meters, as well as the development of a spinning factory (4) in the Misr Spinning and Weaving Company in Mahalla al-Kubra on an area of 24,600 square metres, as well as the development of a spinning factory ( 6), on an area of 17.7 thousand square meters, as well as the current position of the group of new factories for weaving, preparations and dyeing in the Misr Spinning and Weaving Company in Mahalla al-Kubra.

The Minister of Public Enterprise Sector also reviewed the position of the factories complex of the Misr Sabbaghy Al-Bayda Company in Kafr El-Dawwar, and the current situation for the development of the Damietta Spinning and Weaving Company.
