Our History

1980

In 1980, El-Shafei Company for Ready-made Garments was established in the city of El-Mahalla El-Kubra to cover the local market and export, With the passage of time, increased competition and increased market demand, the company developed rapidly and added some weaving and dyeing machines and processing during the period from 1990 to 1998, in order to increase the manufacturing and marketing capacity.

2001

In 2001, Al-Ula Ring Spinning Factory was added and established, to spin cotton and blended yarns, which are the basis for the ready-made garments industry. In the city of 6 October. It was considered the first of its kind at the time, and its addition was a great development. And changing the course of the name of Al-Shafi’i.

2005

In 2005 the company established a dyeing house factory, finishing and printing in 6th of October City,

2014

In 2014, the Rotor spinning factory (open end spinning) was established, it is first of its kind in Egypt so far.

In 2021

n 2022, Al-Olatex Spinning and Weaving Company included all the previous companies in order to operate under one roof, which performs all stages of manufacturing operations under the name Al-Olatex Spinning and Weaving, as it is able to meet the market needs of the following materials:

1. Cotton and blend Ring spinning, Factory 1 Al-Olatex for spinning.
2. The knitting weaving belongs to branch 1 Al-Olatex for spinning.
3. Rotor spinning (Open end), Factory 2 Al-Shafey Spinning.
4. Dyeing, Printing, and Finishing, Factory 3 Al-Shafey Dyeing and Finishing.
